Open the eyes is a spanish film starring Penelope Cruz and

Eduardo Noriega, and directed by Alejandro Amenbar in

1997. Its a thriller. Its about in the history of Csar, a 25 year
old man, who locked in a prison for girlfriends assassination;
but our psychiatrist, Antonio, helps to remember the events
before the macabre murder. It takes place in an alternative
place at the human reality with a protagonists dream. Its an
interesting plot. Penelope Cruz plays the Cesars girlfriend
who disturbed the boys mind, after his death. Spanish artists
as Najwa Nimri, Fele Martinez and Cheta Lera is in it. The
screenplay, the cinematography and the soundtrack are very
amazing.
