has been set a mission to wipeout a target, located in the building of Oaks Park High School. In order to reach his target, he must battle the guards who stand in his way. As he fights his way through the school building, he encounters a close quarter combat battle with a guard which he barely escapes. Eventually, he finds his target and they both confront eachother by pointing guns at eachothers bodies. A gunshot is heard and the agent is shown walking out of the classroom. He is then attacked from behind and the screen turns black as the title appears. The target audience that my group and I decided to aim our production at is from the range of ages between 15 and 35 years of age. We decided this age range because the genre of our film is of the action genre, meaning it contains fast-paced and violent scenes, which may be inappropriate for younger
viewers. The main gender that
watches action films, are males, however my production company believes that our production is appropriate for a unisex audience.
What representations are
present in this production?
The male character in our
production is represented as a brave, fierce and discreet secret agent whom the audience knows very little about, which maintains their attention as they want to find out more about him and who exactly he is.
How will you verify whether
your product is successful and if it met the expectations?
To find out whether our end
product was successful or not, we will be providing our audiences with a questionnaire to receive detailed feedback and support from the target audience that we originally aimed our production at. We thought this would be the best way in which to gain feedback as it was simple, fast and easy.
