Work Plan

Date:

Identify the Key Responsibilities you aim to achieve in

this performance cycle.

Identify the Performance Indicator to indicate how the KR

will be measured.

Refer to the ATHS Strategic Plan and/or your

Business Unit Plan to help identify the Key
Responsibilities (KRs) that apply to your work
Identify a minimum of 3 KRs. It is appropriate to
identify
up to 6 KRs.
Your KRs should generally be consistent with the key
accountabilities and responsibilities in your Position
Description. Any variation to your Position Description
should be noted

Performance indicators are specific, unambiguous

statements

Work Plan Proforma

Write these as action based statements that include a

description of time, date, quantity or quality

The Review notes column is provided to record any change to the

Work Plan. When this occurs the reasons for the change must be
identified.
It is also provided for the benefit of making notes on informal
meetings between the staff member and the manager to discuss
progress.

There may be a number of Performance Indicators for each

Key Responsibility.
When writing comments at the 6-month and annual review
points, the manager should refer to the Performance
Levels/Core Capabilities.

Key responsibilities
What am I responsible for achieving in my position?

Performance indicators
How will the Key Responsibility be measured?

1. Classroom Management
- Defined expectations
- Student centred management
- Dynamic and interactive class
- Organized classroom
- Agreements not Rules

1. Some of the evidences that will show that I am

progressing towards my goal will be very
measurable and specifically in maximizing
instruction time. If there is little or no time wasted
during instructions it shows that the students are on
task and they know what to do.
Another aspect, which will show good results, will
be minimizing the numbers of students on
behaviour reports. I want to build a relationship
with my students and the less problems we have
indicate that the class management is where I want
it to be. Yet another indication of good
management will be student respect towards the
teacher, and that is not just towards me but also
towards other teachers in the school.

2. Assessment
- Assessment versus Evaluation
- Assessment tools that address different
learning styles
- Research on improvement
- Student knowledge of assessment
- Building on assessment for improvement

2. It will be hard to be able to know if I am

moving in the right direction because it will take
some time for me to notice improvement of
students based on assessment. I will make sure to
give different activities and to let students know
when Im assessing them and when Im evaluating
them. If students will feel comfortable during
assessment and will have choices that fit their
learning style or the mode of expression that they
are comfortable with it will definitely show that I
am moving in the right direction. If the students
improve from test to test, or from evaluation to
evaluation, and they improve in the field that I
advised them to, it will show that they understand
what my suggestions.
