Greetings, my name is Linda Ponsonby and I

am the author of The Sonbon Family. I have

compiled a synopsis of this short story, so as you
will obtain a greater understanding concerning
this wonderful, funny and chosen family.
The Sonbon Family childrens book, is to
eventuate into a collection of short stories,
possibly up to 15 volumes, based on a father,
mother, their six children and including their
family pets. Sounds quite simplistic but dont be
fooled!
Each volume will slowly pull you into the
goings on in their day to day family dramas.
Then add in a touch of the supernatural
happenings, humour, unusual creatures and
the final realization that this particular family,
well at least some of its members, for the time
being, are unknowingly involved in a greater
plan to assist in saving the world!
The Sonbon Family, subtitled, Pius & His New
Home, (Vol. 1) is aimed at 7-12 year old children.
It comes in an A5 sized paperback, as well as
ebook, both forms include colour illustrations,
some which are quite humourous for childrens
pleasure. The book is in easy to read, large print
and contains 68 pages.

The Sonbon Family are Tasmanian and many

children, as well as parents will relate to the
various characters, including their Australian
reactions to diverse, humourous and dangerous
situations.
Within the tale of the Sonbon Family Pius &
His New Home, this special family decide to
camp overnight on the top of Welwot
Mountain, unfortunately, unstable surroundings
can prove fatal for Micca, the youngest son in
the Sonbon clan. Everyone must remain vigilant.
Include an extremely large, vicious snake for
Sargeth (the father) to have to tackle, in an
attempt to defend his family. Add to this, the
ancient,
wild
and
ferocious
Australian
creature, The Bunyip for a bit of an upset to
their peaceful camping plans. Top it off with a
sad death, a new addition to their family, lots of
wise cracks and the discovery of a most
precious, valuable and supernatural formation,
it all begins to seem as if a greater end will
eventuate and is planned for this remarkable
family.
Upon returning home, they encounter an evil,
unwelcomed trespasser, incorporate into this
tale an attack on the family, however, a superpowered, unknown ally, may assist in the end.

The Sonbon collection will eventually lead

into the epic saga, ENEVAH Book One, which is
aimed at 9-109 year olds!
