Bronx. I would like to thank you all for taking the time to attend to our information session about inclusion program.
We are here to answer your questions about inclusion program for your child.
What is early childhood inclusion? According to the DEC/NAEYC Joint statement, all children from different culture
and background and with or without special needs have the same amount of rights in the inclusion classroom. All
children are equal. You and the teachers will help your children to reach educational goals that are suitable to them.
Children can also learn the social skill by playing with other children. Schools and communities provide resources
and supports for you and the professionals. Government provides funding for children with special needs to be inclusion classroom. Teachers, school staffs and you can work as a team to help your child to learn and get the best from
inclusion program. Government also monitor the inclusion programs to get high quality standard. (DEC/NAEYC
2009)
