Equality launch: 1 4pm The BME Fair will include the launch of Batooks Blueprint the Bristol Manifesto for Race equality. The Manifesto challenges agencies that deliver services to BME communities in Bristol to improve race equality in specific areas such as education, employment, health and criminal justice. The event will include an opening presentation by Bristol Mayor, George Ferguson, as well as workshops, stalls, networking and light refreshments.
BME Young Peoples Awards and
dinner: 4 - 6.30pm The awards will promote achievements of BME young people in Bristol and will be presented by Sue Mountstevens, Police and Crime Commissioner. We encourage you to nominate young people you are aware of who should be acknowledged for what they do.
