PROJECT ASSIGNMENT (100%)

(A) As a school guidance and counseling teacher in schools , you are often faced with
pupils who have a range of problems such as quickly lost focus, always playing truant
and vandalism. This is due to the current lack of motivation and strategies in teaching
and learning implemented in the classroom . They often do not finish or complete their
school work and disrupting other students in the classroom as well.
Based on the theories of counseling that you have learned, select the appropriate
theory to address these issues and provide justification for the selection of the theory. To
what extent the theory can be applied to overcome the existing problems among pupils
in the classroom. (50%)

(B) Referring to the above problem, select two identified students and discuss other
types of therapy as an intervention to solve the problem. Through concrete arguments,
discuss how far the intervention process can be beneficial to change the behavior of the
pupils concerned. (50%)
