INFORMATION

The undersigned public prosecutor of Laguna hereby accuses Salvador Mercado of the crime of
Giving Assistance to Suicide define and penalized under Article 253 of the Revised Penal Code,
committed as follows:
Than on or aout the 6th day of August 2013 at around 11:00 in the evening, in the
Municipality of Santa Cruz, Province of Laguna and within the jurisidiction of this Honorable Court,
the above-named accused did then and there willfully, unlawfully, and feloniously assist one Noel dela
Cruz to commit suicide, to the extent of doing the killing himself, that is by pouring a poisonous liquid
into the mouth of said Noel dela Cruz thus causing his untimely death, to the damage and prejudice of
herein private complainant.
