ANATOMI
N.peroneus profunda turun ke bagian anterior tungkai bawah. Cabangcabang muskularnya mensarafi otot-otot tibialis anterior extensor digitorum
longus, extensor hallucis longus dan peroneus tertius. Filamen articularnya
mensarafi tibiofibular inferior dan sendi pergelangan kaki. Sedangkan cabang
terminal menuju ke kulit 2 jari kaki pertama, M.extensor digitorum brevis dan
sendi sendi kecil jari kaki. N.Peroneus communis mudah terkena cedera, karena
secara anatomi berjalan melingkar collum fibula dekat periosteum yang hanya
ditutupi oleh kulit dan jaringan subcutaneous. Saraf ini berjalan ke distal
melewati suatu terowongan (tunnel) yang berpangkal pada M.Peroneus longus
dan suatu archus fibrosus yang dibentuk terutama oleh aponeurosis soleus,
sehingga secara anatomis membuatnya rentan terhadap stretch injury.
N.Peroneus superficial dan profunda cenderung keatas tepi jaringan fibrous
selama plantar flexi dan inversi kaki.

Differential diagnosis:
o Radikulopati L5
o Post operasi pinggul
o High aciatic mononeuropathy yang mengenai serabut peroneus kommunis
Terapi:
o Konservatif, menghindari faktor kompresi
o Operasi
o Physical therapy
