The Palestinians and Israelis have been at war for a very long time. According to
Wikipedia, the war began around the late 19th Century and the early 20th Century. It has
become less violent over the years yet still continued to a point where it has become simply too
much for the UN and the countries surrounding Israel to manage. Through out this time,
many Resolutions and solutions have been offered but none have successfully worked. For
example,

War continues to rage hurting innocent people who just want to live in peace, but are trapped
between two rivaling people. This War has been going on for over a century and needs to be
put to rest, before it is too late and peace is too far out of reach (CNN.com).
What I propose we do is go back and enforce the borders of 1967 having Jerusalem as
the capital. This way the land is equally divided between both people, as shown in this

(the second to last diagram). Furthermore, we should enforce new laws stating that a

Palestinian leader will be in charge of the Palestinian state, settling whether or not they
believe they should share their half of the land with the Israelis. There should also be an
Israeli leader for the Israeli state, for the same reasons. Lastly, we shall enforce this solution

with the control of sanctions. We could have Brazilian troops placed in both states moderating
the behavior of each state and should one state misbehave, it would be punished through
economic sanctions. Before too many more suffer and too many more die, this feud needs to
end. We need to act now.
