I am writing this letter as a recommendation for Rebecca Farrell. I have known

Rebecca for 5 months in my capacity as University Supervisor for James Madison
University. Rebecca served as a student teacher in second and fifth grades at Carver
Elementary in Henrico Co., VA.
During Rebecca's student teaching experiences, I had the opportunity to observe her
teach many lessons. She was well prepared, confident, and creative. She worked
quite well with her cooperating teachers, and formed positive relationships with the
students.
She exhibits a love for teaching, and enjoys planning and executing lessons that
motivate and engage students. She incorporates technology, and provides
opportunities for hands-on learning.
Rebecca has a strong work ethic, practices sound teaching strategies, and exhibits
strong professional qualities. She would be an asset to any school. I wish her much
success as she pursues a teaching position, and I highly recommend her.
