Albert Einstein not only had contributed to physics, but had the

qualities of a great leader. Albert Einstein did many work and it represented
a fundamental change in the way physicists understood the universe
("Albert Einstein." 100 Leaders). He had contributed a lot to physicists and
mathematicians and never gave up until he found that answers to all the
questions that kept on confusing him. Furthermore, he did not waver from
his scientific beliefs, no matter how radical, despite several challenges from
other prominent scientists ("Albert Einstein." 100 Leaders). In addition, he
was an active leader of the international anti-war movement and supported
conscientious objection ("Albert Einstein Archives.") when the Nazi had a
rise to power. To add on, he would constantly speak out against the
country in which he was born[in and] he did not think that Germany should
be fighting in World War I ("Albert Einstein." Albert Einstein). A great
leader knows right from wrong and he even spoke against his own country
to fight for the right thing and knew we all needed to live in peace. Around
World War II, Einstein showed President Roosevelt how atomic energy can
be used as a deadly weapon however he wrote Roosevelt another letter
emphasizing his opposition to the creation of such a weapon(Katz) but after
hearing the president's death he unwittingly helped initiate the era of
nuclear weapons(Katz). Moreover, seeing the effects of the atomic era,
Einstein realized that nuclear weapons were a profound risk to humanity and
could bring an end to civilization("Albert Einstein Archives.") Even more, the
pacifist was a chairman of the Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists,
Einstein urged the outlawing of the atomic and hydrogen bombs(Katz).
Einstein saw the dangers in using the atomic bomb he created and as a
leader he learned from his mistakes and decided that the correct thing to do
would be to try and ban the use of harmful weapons that can kill thousands
of people. The intelligent scientist had done many contributions and was
even highly thought of that Israel offered him the job of President in
1952("Albert Einstein." Albert Einstein) but denied this position due to his
illness. He had been recognized around the world for his work and the
leadership traits that had shown with all his movements. To conclude, Albert
Einstein's work all of these years have shaped him into an amazing leader
and he had done many good deeds that he was recognized by many and his
legacy will continue to live on.
