The Admission Test and admission to the first year of the undergraduate degree course shall be governed by the relevant provisions of the University of Allahabad Act, 2008. 2. The orde/executive instructions of the Government of India, the regulationsinorms issued by the University Grant Commission (UGC) and the orders/judgments of the Hon'ble Supreme Court at New Delhi and the Hon'ble High Court at Allahabad shall be strictly followed with regard to reservation of seatsin admission to the degree courses mentioned above, 3. The information in the brochure is complete, However, any subsequent change will be made available con website wwww.aupravesh.org The admission to any degree course is suggestive of the fact that the terms and conditions laid down in this brochure are acceptable to the candidate and his/her guardian. ‘The existing provisions of the Act, Statutes, Ordinances and rules framed by the University and those ‘modified from time to time shall govern the candidate. Any change in the rules, regulations, fee, special conditions, etc, shall mutatis mutandis apply to the admitted student. 4, The University of Allahabad reserves all rights to conduct UGAT-2015 and any decision taken by the University inthis regard shall be final and binding on all applicants. 5, UGAT-2015is the combined Admission Test for admission to only regular degree courses offered by the University of Allahabad and its Constituent Colleges, namely, Allahabad Degree College, Arya Kanya Degree College, CMP Degree College, Iswar Saran Degree College, Jagat Taran Girls Degree College, Rajarshi Tandon Mahila Mahavidyalaya, S. S. Khanna Girls Degree College and Shyama Prasad Mukherji Degree College. Only those applicants who qualify this Entrance Test will be eligible foradmissions to the University and its Constituent Colleges. (Note: Ewing Christian College and Hamidia Girls Degree College are minority institutions and are not included in this Admission Test) 6. The Admission Test and admission shall be made only as per the published scheme. No change shall bbe made in this scheme on the ground that the candidate's qualifying examination resultis not declared, or no mark sheet has been issued to the candidate, or the candidate has to appear in supplementary examination, ete. However, the University reserves the right fo change the dates of Admission Test or ‘admission, if confronted with any special circumstances, A candidate who fails to be present for counseling for admission on the date fixed by the University will forfeit his/her claim. At the time of admission, candidate must have passed the qualifying examination, candidate appearing for supplementary examination, will not be considered. 7. It shallbe the duty ofthe applicant to produce the prescribed/desired documents for admission. In case of non-production of the desired documents, his/her claim for admission will automatically stand cancelled. The applicant is advised to remain vigilant in collecting information published by the University regarding the Admission Test, its results and other such details from relevant sources. The information supplied by the applicant in his/her application (i.e. Online/OMR Registration) shall be final. Any subsequent change in the Online/OMR Registration Form will not be allowed. any information provided by the applicant is found to be false or forged at any stage, his/her admission shall be cancelled and he/she may be liable for prosecution under the law. 11. The applicant is advised to preserve the photocopyiprint-out of Online/OMR Registration Form, ‘Acknowledgment slp and the Fee Payment Challan for future correspondence and reference. 12. Results declared by the University shall be final. There is no provision for scrutiny of Answer Sheets. 13. Ragging in the University of Allahabad and its constituents colleges is strictly prohibited as per orders of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. The Orders of Hon'ble Supreme Court have been communicated by the UGC letter no. F1-1/2006 (CPP-II) dated March 4, 2008. ifany incident of ragging is reported itwill invite stringent penal action according to law and as per directives of Hon'ble Supreme Courtof india. 14, Disputes related to admissions shall be under the jurisdiction of the Hon'ble Allahabad High Court of Judicature at Allahabad only. Under Graduate Admission Test (UGAT) -2015 UGAT-2015 is the entrance examination for the session 2015-16 for admission to the regular degree courses only i.e. 8.A.,.B.Com., B.Sc. (Maths), 8.Sc.(Bio). B.Sc. (Home Science), B.F.A..B.PE., B.Mus and B.S. (GDS) of the University of Allahabad and its eight Constituent Colleges. This entrance examination will be held at Allahabad, Bareilly, Delhi, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Varanasi and Kanpur centers except B.F.A., B.PE., B.Mus, B.S. (GDS) for which examination will be held only at Allahabad centre. How to Obtain UGAT-2015 Registration Form? Online Registration can be done at the University website ‘www.aupravesh.org’ ; OMR Form along with the information brochure will also be available for purchase from Pravesh Bhawan, Chatham Lines, University of Allahabad-211002 U.P. on all days including holidays except Sunday between 10.00 a.m. To 3.00 p.m. on cash payment of @ 600!- for General and OBC candidates and ® 300/- for ‘Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Physically Handicapped applicants. Online Registration at website www.aupravesh.org is starting from 12 March, 2015 and sale of OMR Forms from Pravesh Bhawanwill start from 18 March, 2015. Onlysuch female applicants who have passed or appeared at the above examination either with (a) Science Group, or (b) with any other Group having Home Science as one of the subjects after having passed the High ‘School (or equivalent) examination with Science Group are eligible to apply for the Undergraduate Admission Testfor B.Sc. (Home Science). 4, The candidate who has passed or appeared in the above examination with Commerce stream or Science stream willbe eligible for admission to B.Com. ST AR 5. For BA. (Music/B.Mus. applicants forms of only those candidates would be considered who have. Music as one of the subject at Intermediate level or they have passed equivalent examination in Music from recognized Institution. 6. _ For BPE, the candidates must have appeared or passed in qualifying (Intermediate Level) Examination with minimum 40% Marks (relaxation for SC/ST as per rules). Candidate must not be more than 21, years old on 1st July of the academic session (2016-16) in the running year admission, these may be relaxed upto 25 years in case of qualified in service permanent teacher of physical education and SC/ST candidate. Candidate will be given credit for sports & NCC. 7. _ ForBFA, Candidate must not be more than 22 years old on 1st July of the academic session (2015-16) inthe running year. Note: Acandidate who holds a Bachelor's Degree in any stream is not eligible to apply for any of the streams of UGAT-2015. Candidate can also apply for B.Sc. and B.Sc. After opening the website the name of the Entrance Examination, its online starting date for filing up the form, its date of closing willbe displayed. The candidate has to opt the class in which helshe wishes to appear in the Entrance Examination. ii, Upon opening the website, four buttons willbe displayed for downloading the Brochure, and opening the online Application Form, for printing Application formiChallan form and for printing Admit Card. The candidates are advised to read the instructions and elick the button to agree and accept the condilionsiinstructions. Option for printing Admit Card shall be available only from the date given in the schedule for Admission Test. iv. The candidate is advised to read the downloaded Brochure before filing up the Application Form. After reading the Brochure carefull the candidate is advised to click the "Apply Online” button. Upon clicking the "Apply Online" button the application form will be displayed on the screen. The candidate is required tofillup the form correctly and as per instructions mentioned in the Brochure. The fields/columns marked with red asterisk are mandatory to be filed, The scanned copy of photograph and signature as per the specifications mentioned above shall be Uuploaded atthe requisite place in the Application form whichis mandatory. After ensuring that allthe entries have been filed up by the candidate correctly. The candidate can submit the form online by entering the correct image code displayed on the screen, vii. Then applicants are requested to choose payment option CHALLAN or ONLINE. IfApplicant selects Challan option: a. Afr the successful submission ofthe application form two buttons will appear on the screen for printing the Application form and Challan form. Clicking the buttons accordingly the application form as well as Callan form can be printed. b. Candidates are advised to take a minimum of two set of printouts of application form and Ghallan form \Which wll show the generated "Application ID" and other details Ifthe candidate fails or forgets to print the application form and challan form for any reason he can printit using the application ID, date of birt sent to him on his e-mail address and through SMS (on registered mobile no.). The candidate will be permitted to print the filed up application form only when helshe will enter the correct data only i.e. application ID and date of birth. 4. After taking the print out of the Challan Form the candidate is required to deposit the requisite fee for the test using aforesaid Challan Form at any Branch of the HDFC Bank in India. fe. The candidate wil receive a confirmation message via e-mail and SMS confirming the receipt of the paymentofthe fee, {The first copy of the Challan Form will be kept by the Bank; one copy has to be kept by the candidate himself orherset. 9. The applicants are advised to keep the candidates copy of challan duly stamped by HDFC bank with himself herself the admission pracess is completed. IfApplicant selects ONLINE option: After clicking ONLINE option please click submit Application form button. The details of payment mode will be displayed then click PAY ONLINE. On clicking PAY ONLINE button the applicant will be connected to HDFC gateway for payment. Then select Credit Card, Debit Gard or Net Banking. Then fill the details as required and then submit the application form & get the printout of application form. |x. The UGAT Registration Form is designed on Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) technology in which ‘ovals filed by black ballpoint pen are recognized by the computer and are preserved n electronic form forfutureuse. 2. The OMR Registration Form is important document. Do not mutilate or split. Do net fod it rom any ather place, which has not been specified. Do not write any other thing unless othenwise asked to, and do not make any symbol/mark on it either by pen or pencil, 3. The University may cancel the candidature of such applicants who furnish incomplete, wrong or deliberate misinformation; or concealment of facts in Online/OMR Registration Form. 4.a The information provided and the data supplied by the applicant through Registration Form shall be preservedin the University fora period of only six months from the date of he declaration ofthe result of Entrance/Admission Test. The records willbe disposed off afer the said period and no enauiy shall be entertained in this regard by the University after the expiry of the said period. The University shall use this data for various purposes; hence, in no case shall any change be allowed at a later stage ‘Therefore, all the information must be furnished correctly, completely and clearly by the applicant himselfverselfas per the instructions given in the brochure/Wwebsite wnwwaupravesh.org. 4.b The Evaluated OMR Answer Sheets/Answer Booklets willbe preserved only fora period of six months after the declaration of results of Entrance/Admission Test. The records will be disposed off after the said period and no enquiry shall be entertained in this regard by the University after the expiry of the said period 5. Man applicant failsto follow the instructionsules printed in this brochure and fils the OMR Registration Form ilegibiy orthe Formis leftincomplete; and, because of these reasons the computer fails to scan the OMR Registration Form, the applicant shall be responsible for such an error and in that case the University reserves the right to cancel the candidature of such an applicant. 6. Inthe OMR Registration Form, the required ‘ovals’ are to be blackened carefully by a black ballpoint pen. Fille corresponding boxes single capital letters of English alphabet clearly by a black ballpoint pen only. Write only one letter in one box. Be careful and avoid cutting! overwriting. Do not enclose any document along with the filled-in OMR Registration Form at the time of submission. & A special identification mark (bar code 120451204512045 ) has been provided on each OMR Registration Form, which is unique for every form. Therefore, submit the original Registration Form only to the Director Admissions Office, Pravesh Bhawan. A photocopy or any other copy of the Registration Form or'ts duplicate willn no case be accepted. 9. The applicant should flland sign at specified places in the OMR Registration Form by himself/herself. If at any stage the signature of the applicant is found to be forged or has not been done by the candidate himselfiherself, his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled. 10. The Acknowledgment slip (which is part of the OMR Registration Form) will be detached at the time of the submission of the form at the Pravesh Bhavan counter of the University and will be retumed to the applicant or his/her representative after stamping i. 07 Column wise filling of OMR Registration Form Note (a) Theinformationin the OMR Registration Form should be filled by using black ballpoint pen only. {b) This form should be filled with utmost care and without any error. Column 11: Name and full mailing Address : The applicant should write in BLOCK letters (using only black ballpoint pen) his/her name, full postal address and also the pin code. The postal ‘address should clearly bear applicant's name, Father/Guardian’s name, House no., Street no., Mohalla/Village/Tola, Post Ofice, District and State The scanned image of the address furnished by the applicant wil, as such, be used for generating the postal address. 09 Column 12: Signatur Ipaq, 20 ure eur : Put your signature in the specified box. This signature should match the signature of the applicant at the time of Admission Test. In case the two signatures do not match, the applicants likely tobe debarred from the Test. Column 13: Father's Name : Fill in the complete name of your father in the boxes and blacken the ‘corresponding ovals as per the instructions given in Column 3. Column 14: Mother's Name : Fill in the complete name of your mother in the boxes and blacken the ‘corresponding ovals as per the directions given at Column 3, Column 15: Nationality; Blacken the appropriate oval whether (i) Foreigner, (i) Indian or (i) NR. Column If Minority Community : Blacken the appropriate aval of the minority category to which you belong (i) Budchist, (i) Christian (i Jain, (iv) Muslim, (v) Parsi (vi) Sikh (vii) Others, Column 17: Mobile Number: Write the Mobile Number in the boxes and blacken the corresponding ovals. Column 18: Declaration: Read the declaration and put your signature at appropriate place on the other side of the OMR Registration Form. Column 19: Acknowledgment : The applicant must fill the Acknowledgment slip by providing histher name, Father's name, Test desired and mailing address (as given in Column no. (11). This acknowledgment Shall be detached and be aiven back to the applicant after the University receives thefiled-in OMR Registration Formby hand. Howto submit the Form?
