Shoe Box Project
Directions: Using a standard everyday
shoe box, demonstrate your ability to apply
the concepts listed below to your personal
socialization experience.
0= the student does not demonstrate the ability to
apply the concept to their personal socialization
experience.
1= the student appears to understand the concept, but
does not appropriately apply it to their personal
socialization experience.
2= the student understands the concept and
appropriately applies it to their personal socialization
experience.

Outside of the box should be decorated,


painted, filled, etc. with
words/items/images/symbols that represent
the development of self. These concepts are
found in Lesson 2 of Chapter 4.
