[The students are divided into three different groups for a reading small group. The groups are
ability based, during literature an EIP teacher assists in teaching the lesson. Often she will pull a
group of students to a different classroom to work with on the same particular skill. Every day
during literature, the students are divided into 3 groups for small group reading. ]

[ The student have to complete Star testing every month which is sometime completed during
our literacy lessons. ]

[With the Journeys reading book, there are short stories for each lesson that we use each week.
They target different reading strategies. These are used during our small groups. They also
provide different reading interactive lessons that can be used on a smart board. ]
