RUBBERBANDACTIVITY

Modeling:
Demonstratepartneractivity,withanassistant.Haveassistantusetworubberbandsforeach
hand,(totalfourrubberbands)andrandomlybandtogetherfingers(gently!).Instructorthen
willsignpersonalinformation,suchasfullname,age,andwhereshe/hewasborn.

GuidedPractice:
Students,nowpairedup,willbeginthisactivity.Instructorwillmovethroughtheclassroomto
ensurestudentsbandtheirfingersinarealisticwaythatemulatesRMIorCTS,andgentlyto
preventcirculationissues.

Independentpractice:
Studentswillnowsigntheirpersonalinformationtotheirpartner,whilethepartnertriesto
writedownwhattheyunderstand.Thisprocessisrepeatedasstudentsswitchpartners.
