ABSTACT
This study aims to improve the skills of classifying types of food to provide energy,
grow and maintain health through methods FOOD GAME.Dalam Science subjects
using many methods to memorize, recall and understand the contents of subject. The
knowladge about food is very important.Therefore, a study was do the 5 Year 2
pupils SK ULU JEMPOL consisting of two boys and three girls who have been
identified yet mastered weld types of food. Initial survey was conducted through
observation and testing pre. The findings of the initial survey showed the main
problem is not to memorize the students various types food.Althought been taught
repeatedly, but the ability of students is very limited. To overcome this problem, a
study using methods FOOD GAME generated to help improve student
comprehension and retention of the classification of types of food. Pupils involved
were trained intensively for 2 weeks by activity FOOD GAME. Through tests
conducted post, Respondent 1 has shown an increase of 60%, the second respondent
showed an increase of 70%, the Respondent to 3 showed an increase of 50%, the
Respondent to 4 showed an increase of 70% and 5 respondents to indicate an
increase of 50%. Improvement has been shown that the method FOOD GAME
membktikan been able to help the students - students better understand how the food
classification according fngsinya more effectively. The findings of the survey showed
that more students remember, understand and fun to follow the teaching and learning
through games.
