Compulsory Labelling of Additives in Food

Only in exceptional cases are additives used in food which must be


labelled. On our menus and postings, these additives appear as code
numbers.
1 = with Anti-Colouring Agent
2 = with Preservatives
3 = with Colouring
4 = with Sweetener
5 = contains Aspertame
6 = with Flavouring
7 = with Phosphates
8 = Sulfated
9 = Waxed
10 = Blackened
11 = Surface handeled with Natamycin

12 = Caffeine
13 = Quinine
14 = Alchohol*
15 = Milk Protein
16 = Egg whites
17 = Soya Protein
18 = Lupin Protein
19 = Pea Protein
20 = Wheat Protein
21 = Starch

We exclusively use iodine salt.

Legal Protection for Children and Young Persons


The legal provision of protection for children and young persons in public
is also valid in the IUB restaurant.
It is not allowed by law:
- To sell any alcoholic drinks to persons under the age of 16 for their
own consumption.
- To deliver any kind of brandy or any food or drink containing brandy
to persons under the age of 18.
