Whensomeonethinksofnursestheythinkofhospitalsandscrubsrightawayalthough
thisistrueonlysomethingsthatnursesareknownfor.Nursingissuchabroadspectrumthathas
somanyfieldsanddifferenttalentsyoumayhavetosuitthetypeofpersonwhoislookingtogo
intothemedicalfield.Therearecountlessthingsthatmayaffectoneofgettingintocertain
nursingareas.Howmuchschoolingonehasdone,alongwithwhattypeofenvironmentone
wantstoworkinwhilepracticingnursing.Anotherthingthathasaffectednursinginthelast
recentyearsisthemajorshiftoftechnology.Technologyhasmadesuchabigimpactonthe
wholeworld,especiallyinthemedicalfield.Somanythingsthatweredonebeforewithhands
onandthatanursewoulddonowisdonebyamachineorrobotjustbythetouchofahandwhile
thenursejuststandstheretorecordwhatthemachinereadswhenitsdone.
Somethingsthat
includeusingtechnologyinaeverydaybasisiswhennursesarelearningtodoprocedures
forCPR,nursingintheradiologyareaortheEKG,andhowthedifferenttoolsforbasic
firstaidhavechangedovertheyears.
Becomingaregisterednurseissomethingsimplebutonemusthaveaneagerattitude
towardsthehealthcarearea.Onemusthaveaninterestinwantingtocareforothersandthe
naturalintuitiontotreatotherswithrespectandputtingothersbeforeoneself.Onceoneseesthat
youhavethenaturalintuitionforhelpingothersandwantingtoworkinmedical,onewillstart
schoolatauniversityoffouryearsfornursingtograduateandreceiveabachelorsinnursing.

topassthatcoversphysiologyintegrity,healthpromotionandmaintenance,psychosocial

butonlyinseriousemergenciesandwhennotinornearahospital.Themoreknownwayto

Whenapersongoesintoahospitalorclinicwithabrokenboneorhurtareatheytakean
xrayorsendthemtothespecialareawhichiscalledradiology.Xrayshaveevolvedamajor
way,astowhentheyfirststarted.Theywerefirstintroducedintheverylate1800sbutwere
almostmadebyaccident.TheinventorwasaGermanprofessorandhewassoamazedbythe
crystalsandtheimagethatcameoutofitandhowindepthitwas.Hethentesteditandtooka
picture(xray)ofhiswife'shandanditwasveryindetailallthewaytoherbone.

Thisishowhegotitallrolledupandwhenxraysstartedbeingusedforhospitals

Whenonegetsaminorcut,scrape,orburnfirstthingisalwaystowashhandsandclean
theaffectedarea.Mostpeopledon'tknowwhattodoafterthatandmanymakeatriptothe
hospitalwhenitsunnecessarytodosowithjustthesimpleknowingoffirstaid.Firstaidconsist
oftreatingtheareaandkeepingitwellmaintainedsonoinfectionshappen.Firstaidhasevolved
alotsincecuringhasbeenaround.Backinthe1900salltheywoulddowhensomeonecleanup

Theseareonlysomequestionstothinkofwhilegettinghelpforthehurtperson.Many
peoplealsocarryfirstaidkitswithfullbandages,ointments,andalcoholforanysituation.many
alsohavestartedcarryingepipenswhichareforpeoplewhohaveaseizurewhenhavingan
allergicreaction.Onesopinionmaysaythatfirstaidhascamealongwaysincethe1900s.
Onewillsaythatnursingisaeasyjobwhenaskedbutwhentakenintoconsideration
afteralltheschooling,time,evolutionoftechnologythathasaffectedxrays,firstaid,andCPR
nursingisntnojoke.Therearemanydifferenttypesofnursinganddifferentareasbutifone's
intuitionistohelpothersthenthemedicalfieldistherightchoicefortheperson.
