PART I

I study food Engineering. I am in 10th semester. I am Medellin, I live in the

Floresta..I like watch movies, listen to music, paint, hang out with my friend.

1. Is English important in your life? Why?

Yes, English is important in my life because in the currently English is the most
common language spoken everywhere and a lot of the major places speak it and.
For example in business life, the most important common language is obviously
English. In addition English facilitates accessing information

2. Is English important in your career? Why?

Because English helps students find a high quality jobs. These jobs need good
understanding ability and speaking in English. Therefore, companies can easily
open out to other countries, and these companies generally employ graduates
whose English is fluent and orderly.

3. Do you think the syllabus of this course is going to help you to improve your
English? Why?
Yes, because through this course I can improve my English, answer questions and
learn new concepts.

4. From the syllabus of the course, which topic is familiar for you? Have you
studied it previously? If so, Where?
No, I only have studied English in this program (UNAD), but I have seen in other
syllabus (English level II and III), topics like past perfect and passive voice in the
present.

5. How has your English learning experience been?

Has been difficult, because is an idiom that need time, dedication and practice,
however I have tried to learn what I can more.

PART III
Write down in English 10 lines telling your tutor how you feel in this course and
how it is going to help you to get your academic goals.
I come to this level with much study and dedication, only studying in this program. I
like learn vocabulary. I dislike the listening and speaking, these are some difficult
for me. I like English because is a language necessary for my career.
This English will be necessary to do some projects or homeworks which are related
with their field during the university education. This will allow me, find my favourite
job related with my field. Second, with this I can communicate with others
internationally. Third, as a major language in the world, English will make access
information easy for me.
Is for that I hope to learn adequately each topic with new vocabulary, reading,
speaking, pronunciation, among other.
