Overview
Topic and Overarching Goal: Recognize items from their world.
Behavioral Objectives:
1. When asked, children will state correct steps to hand washing.
2. All children will be able to demonstrate how a mailbox works.
3. Child will be able to place a letter inside of an envelope 2/3 times.

Preparing The Activity


Observation and Assessment:
What interests, assessments, prior knowledge, observations, and/or experiences have you observed to explain
why you have chosen this activity?
I have seen Athena, Jackson, Abigail, and Cotton all sing songs to themselves. I thought a catchy poem
would be fun for them. I have seen the children take a lot of time when washing their hands.

using numbers or bullets. Write descriptions as if you will be giving instructions to a substitute teacher:
