Yes No Wave Music adalah sebuah netlabel berbasis di Yogyakarta yang dikelola oleh Wok
The Rock dan Bagus Jalang. Online label ini memungkinkan band/musisi untuk menampilkan
karya mereka ke publik yang labih luas. Ini adalah aksi gift economy, sebuah
eksperimentasi dalam menerapkan model musik gratis kepada pecinta musik di dunia yang
kapitalistik ini. Aksi ini bukanlah gagasan menghancurkan industri musik yang sudah mapan
ratusan tahun, tetapi lebih pada tawaran alternatif dalam mendistribusikan karya musik
secara gratis.
Misi kami adalah mempromosikan hasil karya talenta-talenta muda yang tidak punya banyak
kesempatan, mengalami hambatan finansial untuk memproduksi dan mendisitribusikan karya
mereka dalam format vinil, CD atau kaset. Tentunya, baik kami juga band/musisi sepakat
untuk memproduksi sebuah karya yang didistribusikan secara gratis dalam format MP3
melalui jaringan internet.
Yes No Wave Music tidak membatasi jenis musik apapun.

Open Call For Participation
Yes No Wave Music dengan lapang dada menerima usulan rekaman bagi band/musisi yang
ingin karyanya untuk dirilis. Materi yang kami terima berupa rekaman final dalam format CD
Audio/WAV/MP3, desain sampul/artwork dalam format ukuran CD, catatan produksi

Yes No Wave Music is a Yogyakarta-based netlabel run by Wok the Rock and Bagus Jalang.
This online label gives bands and musicians the opportunity to publish their works to a
broaden public. Its a gift-economy act; an experiment on applying free downloadable stuff
to the music-lovers in todays capitalism era. This is an alternative on the music field, by
distributing free music and stuff, not a destructing idea for the music existing industry.
Our mission is to promote the works of young talents who are limited in chances,
opportunities and financial supports on producing their works on vinyl, CD, or cassette
format. We offer our site as a free online distribution channel for publishing the works of any
bands or musicians in the MP3 format, from any genre.

chosen single through our mailing list. The released singles will latter be joined in a
compilation. To get one of these singles, you have to join the Free Singles Club! mailing list!

Yes No Wave Music is open for any kind of recording suggestions or requests from bands or
musicians who desires their works to be released. We will work on final recording materials,
such as Audio CDs, or digital formats (CD, WAV, MP3); CD formatted sized artworks;
recording production notes; biographies; and lyrics (optional). For further details, please
