Proper Behavior in the Pantawid
Pamilyang Pilipino Program
Rules in the workplace provide guidance
and direction how to behave, act and
respond to the tasks and responsibilities
It is necessary for the safety, well-being and
productivity of employees
It does not aim to punish but aim to
encourage and establish an atmosphere of
harmony, trust and cooperation necessary to
do well and comfortably

Behavior sets the stage for the creation of ones
public image - courtesy and prompt service no
matter how difficult the work may be at times or
at all times

Best working conditions exist where all


employees conduct themselves with respect
and communication for themselves, their
fellow-employees and in the workplace in
general (RU Office Standards)

WORK HOURS & ATTENDANCE

Working on time - Tardiness be avoided even at the


LGU area or in the field, people we work with
expects our availability on time and at all times in
the place or areas of their work and prepared to
work set by the Department. Repeated tardiness in
reporting in the workplace particularly in the local
area of assignment should be subject to discipline
measures.

Proper Notice in cases of absences Informing your


supervisor and co-workers is a courtesy due them.

OFFICE DECORUM
Office Decorum When one
decides to enter the government
service, he shall be bound to
observe certain norms of conduct
and proper office decorum in the
performance of his work like
wearing uniforms and proper office
attire, giving due respect to
superiors and co-workers in
accordance to R.A 6713, Conduct
and Ethical Standards for Public
Officials and Employees.

OFFICE DECORUM
Personal calls and conversations are to be
kept at the minimum Excessive
conversation that interfere with your work in
the office and in the field detract you from
professional service, efficiency and the
Department as a whole in achieving the
goal of the program.
Use of office equipment for personal time

Proper attire/appearance proper dressing

or revealing clothes and/or T-shirt with

Uniform/Proper Office Attire even if there is no
prescribed uniform for MOA Workers, they are
required to wear appropriate office attire pursuant
to MC 09 Series of 2009 such as:
Dresses, Knee length skirts, Dress
pants/slacks, Jeans, Blouses
Polos, Collared Shirts
Dress Shirts

FLEXI-TIME OBSERVATION - An employee may
opt to start working any time between 7:00AM to 7:00
pm (8:30 for Mondays & CORE HOURS - 9:30 am TO
4:00 PM) without being considered tardy provided she
completes the required forty (40) hours work week
(General Guidelines).

AND OVERTIME FOR CDO - Authorized overtime


services can be compensated either monetarily of
through Compensatory Day-Off (CDO).
Officials/employees who are not entitled to Overtime
Pay may avail CDO subject to existing CSC or DBM
guidelines.
