I Evocation.
1. Organization. Warm up.

Individual work

Greeting pupils and creating the atmosphere. The teacher


asks to repeat after him a tongue twister and to learn it by
heart I wish you were a fish in my dish.
Checking homework.
The teacher asks pupils what they have to prepare. Pupils
say that they had to prepare exercise 7, 8 at pg. 55, to
choose a museum/ zoo they would to visit and to say why
they would like to visit it; To describe the adventures that
happened to Nick using verbs in brackets in the Simple
Past or Past Progressive, and to retell one of the
advertisements at pg. 54 exercise 1.
II. Preparation.

III. Realization of meaning.


Pre-reading.
The teacher refers the pupils to the Word Bank. Pupils
must write the words with the transcription and translation
in their vocabularies.

The teacher asks the pupils to read the text Robin Hood
at pg. 56, exercise 2. Pupils must be very attentive in order
to understand what the text is about.

Post reading.
The teacher asks the pupils what the text is about and asks
them to express their opinion regarding the text. Pupils
express their thoughts. For example: I like the main
character, he is a hero, he helps everyone that is poor.
The Teacher directs the pupils to the ex.5, p.57, to find one
word in the sentences which is false and to replace it by
the correct one.
IV. Feedback.
The teacher asks the pupils if everything is clear or not,
pupils share opinions, make conclusions, express likes and
dislikes.

V. Assessment.
The teacher gives necessary explanations. The teacher puts
marks in diaries.
VI. Homework.
The teacher gives the homework to learn by heart new
words ,to read and to translate the text and exercise 4, to
say which is the meaning of the underlined words, for
example an old sword its a weapon. ; Exercise 6, to
combine two sentences into one using And or But. ;
Exercise 7, to complete the sentences using the past tense
form of the verbs which are in brackets.
