1. Tonal Memory
Students perform the Attendance Song regularly. I will listen for pitch accuracy and
see how well directions are followed.
2. Verse/Refrain
Verse and refrain are new content areas for this class. I will ask if anyone has ever
heard of verse or refrain to informally pre-assess their existing understanding and
knowledge.
3. Safari Activity
The week prior, the class learned Safari and how to sing it. I will ask who remembers
the song and informally assess.
