Get the smartboard set up.


Write the schedule up on the board.
Write the materials needed.
Get the quizzes ready.
Introduction
We are going to review quickly with a quiz-quiz-trade
and then you will have 40 minutes to write the quiz.

The quiz will assess their prior knowledge


Students are expected to listen attentively and actively
participate in the discussions and activities. They are to not
cheat on their quiz and be respectful for other students around
them.
Okay so I want number 1s to grab out the quiz-quiz-trade
cards.

1. when the teacher says GO students stand up hand up


pair up.
2. They decide who will be A and who will be B.
3. Student A quizzes student B. If student B gets it correct
student A praises them. If they do not get it correct
student A tips, tips, teaches.
4. Repeat process with student B quizzing student A.
5. Once both students have answered the question
correctly, students trade cards and bid farewell. Hand
up to find a new partner.
As students are doing the quiz quiz trade walk around to make
sure they understand and are actually doing the quizzing. If
needed provide scaffolding.
Quiz time!
- The quiz will be on their Chromebooks. They are
doing it on socrative.com
- Once they are done they can work on their cume
review, but quietly until everyone is done their quiz.
- Once everyone is done their quiz, get them to do a
stand up hand up pair up activity where they
discuss about something that happened to them that
was very exciting. Make sure they greet the students
and say thank you at the end.
As students are writing the quiz walk around to make sure none
of them are cheating. If students have questions, you can
provide some scaffolding to support their learning.

As students are doing this make sure that they are calming
down from the quiz and this will help them transition to the
math that we will be learning today.
Closure
They have a quiz today; tell them that they will get the marks
tomorrow and that we will be continuing with topic 5 notes as
well!

day. It is my last day teaching you guys.
Okay we will now put everything away and continue on into

They can work on their cume review. If they are done they can start 11.4 up
until what I have taught. They could also read as well.
