homogenization has been clearly documented.
The most iconic photograph in National Geographic has been the image of
the 12-year-old Afghan girl, Sharbat Gula, at a refugee camp in Pakistan.
Her eyes drilled into the souls of the audience and revealed to everyone
what words could not.
It made people care about the issue at hand.
