Hope and Hopelessness

Prayer Requests
Praise God for bringing students to the
Story of the Soul outreach event.
Pray for students who attended Story of
the Soul to get involved in a Cru small
group or to start coming to our weekly
meeting so that they may further encounter Christ.

Story of the Soul was an opportunity for students already involved in

Cru to take steps of faith and
reach out to other students at UNC
by engaging in discussions about
hope and hopelessness.
During the week students had various opportunities to engage in
conversations about the themes of
hope and hopelessness, and invite
students to the Story of the Soul
Event. In the photo above students wrote their responses to the

and rewarding. After the event
many students talked about doing another event like this next
semester because of how much
fun it was and how they saw God
at work in their lives.
Many students were engaged in
spiritual conversations and invited
to receive Christ as a result of the
event. The staff were encouraged
by the steps of faith our students
took in communicating their faith
to others.
