GATHERING TOGETHER
1. As a group develop 5 rules for a gathering of people
2. Once you have developed your rules, discuss how these rules could apply to
people in the gold fields
3. If you think of any other rules that could apply to the different members of the
groups found at the Gold Rush add these
4. Create a rules poster using Phoster and the rules you have just discussed and
created for your gathering.
5. Discuss as a group what you will put on your invitation to the gathering that will
be sent to all the groups found in the Gold Rush
a. Where will the gathering be held
b. Who will be there
c. What to bring
d. What will happen at the gathering
6. Create the invitation using the Invitation maker app on the iPad
7. Discuss as a class the different rules your group discussed and came up with for
your gathering.
