ISTE Standards for Teachers

My course work helped me to facilitate and inspire student learning and creativity.
According to ISTE standard for Teacher 1, educators should give students
opportunities to be creative and reflective within a real-world context and to use
digital tools and resources in both face-to-face and virtual environments.
I created a graphic organizer that my future students can use in Kidspiration.
I created a learning activity for the use of an interactive whiteboard for my future
classroom.
I created a web quest lesson in which students could access online and can do a
web hunt on it to help them learn a new concept.

ISTES STANDARDS FOR TEACHERS

My course work helped me to design and develop digital age learning experiences
and assessments. According to ISTE standard teachers design, develop and
evaluate authentic learning experiences and assessments incorporating
contemporary tools and resources to maximize content learning in context and
develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes identified.
I did a lesson that requires students to conduct research on an animal habit.
I did a web quest that required for students to go on a hunt to found out about
water cycle.
I learn how to integrated interactive activities for my future students.

My course work helped me to model digital age work and learning. Teachers exhibit
knowledge, skills and work processes representative of an innovative professional in
a global and digital society.
I learn how to use technology integration to integrated curriculums into my lesson
with my future students.
My field experience helped me to become more proficient in the model digital age
work and learning.
I learn how to create a lesson plan that in corporates technology with my lesson
that I am teaching in the classroom.

TEACHERS
My course work helped me to promote and model digital citizenship and
responsibility. Teachers understand local and global societal issues and
responsibilities in an evolving digital culture and exhibit legal and ethical behavior
in their professional practices.
I used a Toon Doo to create a math problem in which my students had to solve with
my instructions.
I learn the advantages of multimedia projects it helps me to understand if my
students are learning the material that I am teaching.
I learn how to handle situation in which students are using inappropriate sites on
the internet.

My course work helped me to engage in professional growth and leadership.
Teachers continuously improve their professional practice, model lifelong learning,
and exhibit leadership in their school and professional community by promoting and
demonstrating the effective use of digital tools resources.
I created a screencast which I can use to record activity on a website with an over
voice for more instructions and explanations for my students.
I learn how to integrate computer technology into my lesson plan with my students.
My field experience show me how to use the internet, and to help my students learn
new concepts that they can use to help them with my lesson.
