Educational Philosophy

Educators are the essence of a child's life. They are the biggest impact to whether a child
develops mentally, socially and academically through the years. Educators build relationships
with students and their families as well as the community in support of a successful education for
students. As a future educator, I believe it is essential that I must provide professional skills and
commitments and dispositions to become an effective teacher. I must express enthusiasm for
subjects I teach, a commitment to believing that all children can learn and lastly, developing
relationships with all.
I will express professionalism within the classrooms. I will know the content I teach and show
my best interest when teaching. I will know and apply strategies that will make the curriculum
relevant and develop literacy skills appropriate to the specialty areas. I will dedicate and show
continuous engagement in the subject matter and enthusiasm that will affect the student learning
to give motivation and development.
I will have high expectations for all my students. I will be committed in believing that all
children can learn at very high levels. I will adapt resources that address strengths and
weaknesses of all students to prepare them for the working world or college bound. I believe
motivating students will help them to understand the discipline and learn about it and apply it in
their daily lives is something they all should intake once they complete high school. I want my
students to know that it is a great feeling in working hard to strive to be successful and knowing
that I can help them achieve it.
I will communicate and develop productive relationships with parents and guardians as well as
the community to provide a partnership in support of student learning. Encouraging others to

engage in the students learning can enhance academic capabilities. I will be respectful of
students and their families ensuring that teachers are nurturing and trustworthy. I will emphasize
the importance of education and the engagement of school activities will impact the students
lives.
It is my goal to ensure that all students receive the best education. I want all students to have
high expectations to aspire to be great leaders in the world. I want families to work with teachers
to support the academic and social growth of children. I will strive to be the best educator for my
students to express professionalism within the classroom. I will be knowledgeable of the students
and their families, the content I deliver and support them best as I can. I believe all students
deserve an equal opportunity in learning and succeed in life.
