TSW be practicing the proper

and basic techniques such as
hand eye coordination, and
proper throwing forms. Using all
of the listed skills in the first 3
days to incorporate their
understanding of how to play the
game.

TSW be able to take everything they

learned and put it in to the two main
activities that will show their
understanding for the game and rules
of Trangleball.
Trangle Soccer: One team plays
defense (all goalies), right outside the
short line. This line is only made to
protect the players from getting too
close to the Triangle. The offensive
team sets up outside the long line. A
point is scored when the offensive
team hits the face of the Triangle in
their sector with the ball. They can all
move but not in front of the long line.
Defensive players cannot go beyond
the long line.
Trangleball: Split students up into
teams. Object of the game is to pass
with your teammates with a max
number of passes of three before you
have to hit the triangle. The way to
score is to hit the triangle into an
open spot to hit the ground so the
apposing team does not catch the
ball. If the apposing team catches the
ball they have a maximum of three
turns to pass or hit the triangle
anytime before three to try and score

Students will be asked to take their heart rate after being physically active during an activity. Taking their heartbeat will show
to them that more physically active they are, the higher their heart rate will be.
3. What informal assessment activities are planned as a formative measure to check for understanding of unit content
knowledge and affective or physical skill development?
Students will be assessed by being asked a serious of questions after and activity such as: Can you show me the proper way to
hit the triangle?, or they will be asked show me the proper stance one should be in while participating in a game of
Trangleball.
4. What formal assessment activities are planned as a summative measure to check for understanding of unit content
knowledge and affective or physical skill development?
Students will be assessed by skill checklist from the teacher as well as the every day grading rubric. Students will also be
assessed by everyday participation points on how well they participate with their partners or group, as well as if they listen to
directions being taught by the teacher during the lesson of Trangleball. Along with a 20 question written test to check for
understanding of the game of Trangleball.
5. What materials are included for special populations in this particular unit?
Materials that are included would be bigger balls to make it easier for students to hit the triangle with and do techniques in the
activities; they will also be assisted by an aid if there is a special population of students that need help.
