Life Culture
In the world, we have so many countries and have so many cultures belong to
each one. Thats why we have are different with each other when you come to
somewhere after you left in your country. I lived in Vietnam before I come to USA.
Culture in Vietnam and Culture in USA are so different. Vietnamese culture is a
simple culture that people with different ideals should want to know when they come
to Asia areas. And American culture is a great culture and actually better than
Vietnamese culture. Because all people when they want to travel, they want to go to
USA or someone from USA want to go to Vietnam. Because both of them have a
different culture and you will see and interested when you come to visit. It will be
amazing. Thats why when I came to USA few years ago; I have a lot of to think about
my country culture and American culture. Because it had a lot of difference about that
and a lot of people come into USA from other countries. And these people come to

different beliefs and ideals that will influence other different people also like me. So
it was changing my culture a lot from Vietnam to USA.
Life is very difficult. When you come to other country, everything is a new.
Someone knows that will be difficult and they want to try the best, they never give up.
If they want to do it, their life will be great. Because when you changing a different
environment, different culture, it really hard to do it. Nothing is easy. Because this is a
way to change everything in your life. I know it very hard. If you pass it, your life
going to beautiful. Languages, cultures, life styles, etc.People use symbols to
represent meaning that are relevant to their experiences (Page 5, Culture and
Communication). Before you want to do something, you have to prepare with that.
You have to know what you want to represent about what your main ideas. Also you
can you symbols to represent that with your experiences. Any experiences you had, it
going to help you. Culture is about my life when I live in Vietnam before and now I
live in USA. It had a lot of thing to compared and try to adaptation with a new life. A
culture is any group of people that share a way of life. (Page 3, Culture and
Communication). Everyone have an own culture. But we are living in a same country.
Every country has a own culture. Thats a reason why people want to share a way of
their life. And they want to know about another way of life from another country.
What is a similarities and difference about? You dont know everything. But thats
one good for you. You dont have to know but you will help your brain growing up to

that. When I live in Vietnam, my life is very interested. Because in Vietnam, they
have some customs and it just only Vietnam have and keep it. And my country culture is
one of the oldest in Southeast Asia. Also my country is considered to be part of the East
Asian cultural sphere. Then in my country, it has own languages, Vietnamese. Its a
language for all people who live in Vietnam to use and talk with other person. My
language is not a popular but each country has an own language. Thats why Vietnamese
is official language of Vietnam. Some elements generally considered to be characteristic
of Vietnamese culture, where Im from, include ancestor veneration, respect for
community and family value, handicrafts and manual labor, and devotion to study.
Example with ancestor veneration, my grandparents from both side is a one my family
ancestor veneration. Also my religion is Buddha so all member in my family were
worshipping on that. In Vietnam, I will be a person under control from my parent.
Because when I lived in Vietnam, I just a little boy. I dont know too many things
outside. Thats why have to listen my parent or my brother. Because they are older than
me. They knew what is a good thing, what is a bad thing and dont let me get into that.
Im just a kid when I lived in Vietnam. My culture in Vietnam just normal, dont have
anything to worry about. I just go to school then go back home. Hang out with my
neighborhood and I want to go to visit my cousin. I really love that. Nothing cant
compare with you when you are a kid. Because at that time, you will have a good time
with your family, friends. You dont need to thinking about your job, your life at future
or anything else. Future is a thing you dont know. You have to focus in a present and
make it good. You dont have to think whats going on? Just try and try. Never give up.

My life was changing when I came to USA from Vietnam. Everything is
different. Education, friends, language Language is the key to the heart of people,
thats a way to make other people want to talk with someone like nicely. Because if you
want to make other person like you and understand you with a way you are talking about
and make people want to be your friend. Thats a way you can make a friends. They
know a way you. All of them are new for me. I was really nervous when I come to USA.
Because my life is going to be start over. About education, I studied in Vietnam by my
language. It really easy to me because thats my first language and its very easy to get
good grades when you try to study and focus on it. When you are doing something or
want to say something by your language, it really easy for you to explain your meaning
and make a people who talking with you easy to get it. But when you come to other
country to study or do anything, you have to know their languages. Because they are not
talking a same language with you. You have to learning and try to remember it when you
want to be successful or understanding what they say when you go outside. You are not
live in home forever. You have to go outside. Thats a reason why you have to learn
another language. Thats why I have to try to study English when I come to USA. When I
come here, I didnt know about English. Thats a big problem with me. Because you live
in America, you have to know their language; you cant using your language in America.
If you want to use your language, you can go to your town. Each state, they will have a
small town, thats a place have people speaking a same language. Behind a language,
they have a lot different things you have to learn and know about that. Every country has
own culture. Thats a reason thing you have to know when you moving to another
country. Different country different culture.

When I came to USA, I know I will study with a good education environment in
the world. Because most of people when they want to be a good education and have a
good environment for study, they will come to USA. Same me. My dad and my mom
wanted my brother and I are going to USA about education. Thats why they decided to
move to USA. When we came here, we have nothing. We have to start over in USA. My
dad and mom were trying to give me and my brother an opportunity to change our life
about studying. Thats why my brother and I were trying hard and dont want to make my
parent feel disappointed. And we have to do everything by ourselves. No one will help
you when you turn 18. I have a lot of things to do when I came to USA. Nothing is
simple.
Culture is a thing to talking about where you live and what do they have
similarities and difference. One book calls to another unexpectedly, creating alliances
across different cultures and centuries. it means every book is not a same. Also it has a
different author, different story. Thats why culture likes a same thing. Everyone have a
different culture with their life. And people have to follow that and try to be good with
their own. Thats a reason why you want to choose and live with. A lot of thing can talk
about a culture between 2 countries. Vietnam and USA. Its really different about life,
education, etc. Then have a different about your life. Everyone is not a same. Just be a
way you are and keep your culture. You dont have to change during you live in another
country.
