To ensure that my skills are inline and up-to-date with current practices, educational thought and Ministerial initiatives,

I must continue to be a lifelong

learner and promote equity and excellence in education. This will ensure that I am able to assist students to become successful learners, confident and
creative individuals and active and informed citizens (Ministerial Council on Education, Employment, Training and Youth Affairs, 2008). This will be
achieved by attending all professional development opportunities and actively seeking out my own learning experiences.
