explanation that helps the reader understand what exactly censorship is. It is indeed a
credible source, it provides over 15 sources from other authors who helped the authors obtain
the information needed for the text. This paper is extremely useful because there is no bias
opinion polluting the information. The authors of this article have a background of writing
previous information about the info in this text. The paper is intended for anyone who wants
to learn about censorship. This book was useful because it gives the reader an idea about
censorship and how it applies to the rights of an American.

should be limited. His reasoning behind this statement is that the press could possibly
endanger America by releasing American intelligence, secrets, and any other types of
information that should be kept in the dark. His logic seems justifiable but theres only one
drawback, in the Constitution, Bill Of Rights, and the Amendments there is no law that
prohibits the release of American information. The credibility of this source is not very high,
the author includes extremely bias thoughts into his text. Due to the bias statements in this
article, it can be inferred that the logic this author uses is polluted by his extreme disapproval
of liberalist. The author has also written a book on America, called American Grit: What It
Will Take to Survive and Win the 21st Century. The intended audience would be people who

share the same ideas about government censorship and are also republican. However, this
text isnt extremely useful due to the political party views incorporated into the text gave the
article a sense of irrelevance.

time that is not worthing losing. The authors feel that the main responsibility of the
legislative branch is to protect and uphold our freedoms or speech and privacy. This source is
reliable and trustworthy because many other authors have included there input in this this
text. The text proves usefulness because it represents one side of the on going argument
about censorship in America. It argues the point in a respectable manner by

incorporating

other authors thoughts into the text. The writer seems to have a background in discussing the
roles of the government and what it should be up to. The intended audience is for anyone
who thinks the government is currently overstepping their power of censorship. This book
was extremely useful because it gives the reader insight on how the government is overusing
its power.

question upon its readers, Should the government censor media and every day life in
America? The author uses many excerpts from papers and documents of other author who
share different and like concepts on censorship. The author initially asks the question about
censorship and then adds a document into the book that addresses the question from a

specific point of view. The information in this book concludes that censorship should
stronger in some points of life and less strict in other. The author of this book is a credible
source due to experience in the field of research. The authors intended audience is for people
who are questioning the role of the government in censorship. This book shows extreme
usefulness since it addresses many subtopics of the subject from different perspectives.

author conveys information about the rights to privacy a U.S. Citizen is entitled to. It also
provides the readers actual real-life examples and evidence of America ruling in favor of the
citizens and prosecuting the government for overusing their power. This book also provides
method on how to protect your privacy rights. It also touches on freedom of speech
frequently. The book uses notorious crime cases and speaks from the common perspective,
proving the books credibility. This book is relevant because it speaks on freedom of speech
and how people are entitled to their opinions and publicizing them. The writer has written
many other books on controversial topics allowing people to depend on him as a reliable
source. The intended audience is people who are seeking information about right to privacy
and freedom of speech. This book didnt prove as useful as intended, but it still provided a
valuable overview of a citizens basic rights.

Maher, Bill. "Real Time with Bill Maher: Self-Censorship vs. Free Speech."Real Time Bill

point in this show, he explains that the U.S. people are entitled to their own opinions and

should do what they wish them. He also says censorship should not be taken into the hands of
the government but into the hands of the people. He says the people should decide what is
right and what is wrong to say. He briefly touches on a comical point, stating that the world is
less fun when people can not express themselves. Bill Maher is credible source because he
has written many books and also does public addresses about politics. This source is ver
useful because it uses todays term and has the views of what most of society thinks.
However, Bill Maher does make the occasional politically bias statement, which does pervert
his overall information on the topic. The perfect audience for this show would be people with
a liberalistic view on politics. The viewer would find this relevant because it gives an
opposing opinion on government censorship from a comical but in depth standpoint.

message that politicians and mega-corporations have an affirmative grip on the media. He
also goes on to address that most of the media is owned by just 6 mega-corporations. This
author typical reviews aspects of American life for the website he works for. This source is
extremely credible because the author refers to quotes from The NY Times and famous
renowned journalists. This source proves as very relevant because it goes against the
common perception of media and addresses it for it truly it. It also instills hope into any
reader hoping for a major reform of the media, which the reform could come from internet.
This piece is for anyone who is truly interested in what dark things go on in backstage media.
