Bed Making
In the morning will be held a practice about bed making and the student will show
their skill to their teacher.
Helen

: good morning nurse

Ns. Kania

: good morning too. Are you ready for practice today?

Helen

: yes Im ready nurse

Ns. Kania

: ok before we begin the practice. I wanna ask, can you explain the
purpose of this practice?

Helen

: the purpose of this practice is to create the clean and comportable

environment and to control the spread of microorganisms

Ns. Kania

: then what is the tools that necessary in this practice?

Helen

: This practice is required in some devices such as a large laken or

bedsheet, stick laken, varnished, pillowcases, blankets, and water
for clean table in patient room

Ns. Kania

: can you tell me how to make bed patient?

Helen

: firstly identification patient with checking patient records on the

specific matters relating to the movement and position of the
patient. After that prepare all the tools and wash our hands

Ns. Kania

: then how about the patient is in the bed? What will you do?

Helen

: I would do that is tilted towards the patient position opposite the

patient and then folding looms located under the mattress, starting
from stiklaken, later waterproof, and then of felt great. Fold up the
