Summary of the Treaty of Versailles: Germany was harshly punished for the war. Adolf Hitler and the
NAZI party would use this to their advantage in their rise.
Is it fair to say the Treaty of Versailles caused World War II? Why or why not?
Its is fair to say the Treaty of Versailles caused World War II because the main reason of the start of
WWII is the problems arose in Weimar Germany after the Treaty of Versailles that concluded its defeat in
World War I in 1918. In the Historyonnet.com started that Disarmament- Germany had to pay 6,000
million pounds for the damage caused by the war. This shows that after the WWI Germany have to pay a
lot to fix up the damage for the world. If it wasnt for Treaty of Versailles Germany wouldnt be so poor
and therefore force to start the WWII.
