The technology can help us to resolve the global warmingor only is for get
worse?...Today, the technology form a big part in our lives, we use cellphones,
cars, computers, TVs, videogames, etc. but you ever thought? What happen with
the environment? Is causing the global warming? Or help to reduce our waste and
saving lives?
Nowadays the technology have been a powerful tool to the human
development, we can do our tasks more faster and easier than once, for example
the car or the wash machine, we have more free time to work in other things or just
relaxing, moreover the scientists are assisted by the technology to discover and
study new phenomena which in turn help to develop new technology, also quality
of life is changing, we have a better health through the advances of the medicine,
we have recreational spaces like the cinema thematic parks, videogames, etc.,
now, talking about the advantages to the environment, the technology try reduce
our ecologic footprint developing systems and gadgets friendly with the
environment, for example the new leds which reduce the necessary energy, smart
houses, solar panels, etc, basically the resources, energy, the time and the waste
is reduced by the technology
But all have a good and a bad side, a new culture was created with the use
of technology, in my opinion this is the worst thing that could happen, dont know
how use the technology correctly, now we have a bad habit, we create an use and
disposal society wit out care to the other people, we have become more selfish,
some people want to disappear the CO2 with technology but I think that it is not the
solution, is only an easy way to solve the real problem and is not effective if we
search for a real change that can keep it for a long time. In addition one of the
principal disadvantage of the technology is only is available for rich people, yes the
technology to help the environment exist but is not for everyone.
To conclude I think a change of attitude from every one of us is the best
solution to the global warming or other ecologic problem, the technology has been
crated for human welfare we must learn how to use it to be responsible with the
environment and ourselves because is our house.
