daily.

#2- Pharmacist

#3- Registered Nurse

MY TOP CAREER

Anesthesiologist
While preforming this job, you would sedate patients before
surgery and during medical procedures. Along with this, you must
thoroughly monitor patients throughout the process,
counteracting any mishaps that the patient endures before,
during, or after any procedure. They are in charge of ensuring the
airway is open for a patient in preparation incase they have to go
into emergency surgery while making sure the patients heart is
maintaining a normal status during the procedure.

THE JOB OF AN
ANESTHESIOLOGIST

Anesthesiologists work in places such as physicians' offices,

hospitals, nursing care facilities, schools, and clinics. Since
Anesthesiologists are always on call, they often work night
shifts and weekends on top of week day shifts. Daily, they
sedate patients for surgery and monitor them during the
procedure to ensure the patient is healthy while being
operated on. This job is all about science and time
management and being realistic, social and investigative.

EDUCATION AND EARNINGS

Although becoming an Anesthesiologist requires a lot of

years in college, the payout is worth it. To become an
Anesthesiologist, you must attend a graduate school and
earn your masters or doctorate. This means that when
accepting a job, you tend to not have as much on the job
training. Therefore, it is expected that you know how to
preform your job and can use your knowledge as an
advantage to your place of work. Job opportunities are
projected to raise 22% from 2012 to 2022. The median
range for Anesthesiologists in 2012 was $90.00+ per hour,
and $187,200+ annual wage.

2ND CAREER CHOICE

Pharmacist
As a Pharmacist, you must review, prepare, and produce
prescriptions for patients, assuring accuracy. It is a big
responsibility and requires a lot of education. Along with
producing a prescription, a Pharmacist must teach a patient
how to take the prescriptions properly for safety reasons as
well as monitoring them to make sure the prescription is
providing the accurate care for the patient.

THE JOB OF AN
PHARMACIST

Along with investigative, social and conventional skills,

being a Pharmacist requires much more. Reading
Comprehension, Active Listening, Writing, Speaking,
Science, and Critical Thinking are all other aspects to
preforming this job to its full potential. In most settings,
they spend much of the workday on their feet assuring they
get their job done. Most Pharmacists have to work full time
because most pharmacies are open 24 hours. This requires
both night shifts and weekend work days. Pharmacists work
in pharmacies in which grocery and drug stores often
acquire. They also work in hospitals and clinics. Some
pharmacists work for the government and the military as
well.

EDUCATION AND EARNINGS

Pharmacists job opportunities are projected to raise 14%

from 2012 to 2022. Generally making $116,670 per year
and $56.09 per hour. Education requires receiving a
masters or doctorate from a graduate school. (Law Degree)
When on the job, there is very little training. It is expected
that your knowledge is great enough to know what you are
doing. Requirements of a degree generally consist of
Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and many other courses.

3RD CAREER CHOICE

Registered Nurse
Maintaining records and taking vitals are just the beginning
for a Registered Nurse. Caring for the patient also means
taking care of their family. A Registered Nurse must
educate the family of the conditions of the patient and
prepare them for further options. They are an important
asset to ensuring that all treatment is correct and effective.

THE JOB OF A
REGISTERED NURSE

Reading comprehension, active listening, critical thinking,

monitoring, realistic, social, investigative and conventional
skills are the main points of a Registered Nurses job.
Working in hospitals, physicians offices, home healthcare
services, nursing care facilities, correctional facilities,
schools, clinics, or serve in the military jobs are found
everywhere. Job opportunities are projected to raise 19%
from 2012 to 2022. Due to their importance in taking care
of all people, this is a good career to look into. An RN is a
great asset to any patient at a hospital. They set up the
treatment plan for all of their patients and make sure that it
is accurate and the best treatment option for the patient.

EDUCATION AND EARNINGS

Becoming a Registered Nurse requires many years in

college as most jobs do when going into the medical field.
However, the median annual wage was $65,470 in 2012 and
$31.48 per hour. BSNs tend to have an easier and better
chance at getting a job over an RN due to their extra
schooling and pre-training. While on the job, training can
last from 1 to 2 years with pre-hired nurses to make sure
that an nurse is working accurately in the facility. Although,
they are still expected to know what they are doing with
their knowledge during training.
