120/100 MVA Transformer storage
Dear Sir,
Five numbers of 120/100 MVA transformers along with their accessories & oil drums were
received at site during April 2015. You are requesteds to clarify and take necessary action for
the following:
1. Transformer tanks are installed on respective foundation and it has been more than a
month of receipt of transformer. Maximum time duration to keep the transformer tank in
nitrogen filled condition as per equipment manufacturer recommendations shall be
considered and accordingly oil filling of transformer may be scheduled.
2. Considering above point the construction of fire walls between the transformers shall
be expedited.
3. Major accessories of transformer are still lying in open condition and considering
ensuing monsoon you must expedite for building the covered storage.
