II. Certificate Checking
1. Certificate of Origin:
Check if Origin of valve is complied with PO.
2. Mill Test Certificate:
Check type of certificate as EN 10204. Type 3.1 is acceptable.
Material: ASTM B62 (UNS No.83600).
Chemical analysis:
A chemical analysis of each element with a specified limiting value shall be made on each
lot. Chemical analysis for residual elements is not required unless specified in the
purchase order (ASTM B824).
Chemical Requirements (ASTM B62):

When all named elements in Table 1 are analyzed, their sum shall be as follows:
Copper Plus Named Elements, 99.3 % Minimum
Tension Test:
One tension test shall be performed on each lot.

 Tensile Requirements (ASTM A216):
