Auto mount

/etc/fstab:

• We can also mount the file system by placing


mount information in this file.
• Using entries in this file the file system can be
automatically mounted whenever the system boots.

• It consists of six field per line for each file system


as follows

• <device> <mountpoint> <fs_type> <options>
<dump_freq> <fsck_order>
