ee CUET NEWS 2" Tuternational Conference on Advances in Civil Engineering A3-day long 2nd Intemational Conference on Advances in Civil Engineering (ICACE-2014) was held at Chittagong University of Engineering & Technol= ogy (CUET) during December 26-28, 2014. Researchers and Engineers from 11 counties took part in the conference. The conference comprises of 24 technical sessions in which 163 articles were presented. Honorable Chaisman of University Grant Commission, UGC (State Minis- ten), Prof. Dr AK. Azad Chowdhut inaugurated the conference asthe chief guest. In his speech, Prof. Dr. A. K.
