It will be checked for completion or collected and graded. Homework will always be
reviewed. NO WORK, NO NAME, NOT LEGIBLE = NO CREDIT

Late Work Policy

Any assignments you fail to turn in on time will result in a 10 point deduction per day, for
a maximum of 3 days. After 3 days the assignment will not be accepted.

Extra Credit Policy

Math I Rubric For All Open Ended Questions

Extra credit projects will be assigned throughout the

semester. Projects extends knowledge beyond what is
taught in the classroom.

Pts
4.0

You may retake objectives for 80% mastery.

Attendance and Missing Work Policy

When you have an excused/legitimate absence and are
missing work as a result of that absence, you will have 2 days
to make up the work. Projects are due the next day if absent
on the due date. When absent, it is your responsibility to
retrieve all notes from your fellow classmate and
classwork/homework assignments from the attendance
folder. Make up work is ultimately your responsibility to
keep track of using Powerschool. Please write absent at
the top of all assignments you turn in so that I know they are
not late. Strive to be on time (3 Tardies = 1 Absence).

Honor Pledge
I am responsible for neither giving nor receiving assistance on tests, examinations or class assignments that
are to be graded as the work of a single individual. I understand that the actual giving or receiving of any
unauthorized assistance or unfair advantage on any form of academic work constitutes an academic violation,
as does the act of plagiarizing information. I am fully aware that an academic violation will result in a zero
with no opportunity to make up the assignment and will be documented with a discipline referral to
administration.
Absences
The expectation for absences is the following:
Legitimately excused absences should FIRST be given to the school secretary. Thereafter, the written excuse
should be shared with each classroom teacher. The secretary will provide students with a cover sheet for
attachment purposes. Each teacher should update attendance information based on this sheet and process. It
is the students responsibility to share this information with each teacher AND turn this information in to the
secretary. Students have two days to make up missed assignments due to excused absences. In unexcused
cases, a parent and/or administrator must be contacted to assist with work being made up. Students will have
two days to make up the work.
