Because they wont.

Society has the responsibility to fight for justice, if we

dont do it, they wont either
By Nathan Rowley

Since the humble beginnings of civilization we always attempted to have an

equal and just society, many had glorious ideas of this society and created
stories to accompany them, such as Atlantis and El Dorado, including many
biblical stories like the garden of Eden and the tower of Babel, stories of people
working hand in hand to achieve something greater than themselves.
Unfortunately these ideas have been perished by others, who dream of one thing
and one thing only, power to control society and possibly the world. People like
this try to take ideas of justice, equality and Democracy and turn them into
stories, ones that are said to be fairy tales. We know they are not. So it is now
that we must fight back against those who use what they call justice against
us. Because they wont.

The government wont, they are too concerned with offshore threats to worry
about us, threats like the Taliban and the Refugees. That is what they class
innocents escaping a war torn contrary as, threats, they dont receive justice,
they dont give them a proper trial, they are sent straight to detention centers
and have no civil rights, is this the treatment they deserve no it is not. Above all
no one should receive this treatment. Let us not forget the name change from
refugees to asylum seekers the Government is trying to put a negative
emphasis on this poor souls. Where is the evidence I can hear you asking,
aside from it being on the news and in our faces over the past decade a nice
piece of text that shows the injustice of this is the book Refugee: The Diary Of
Ali Ismail the novel tells the story of Ali Ismail, a young boy escaping
Afghanistan to start a new life in Australia, it features key events that prove the
injustice that the refugees are going through, with the detention center as the
focal point of all the injustices that take place. These include high pressure water
guns that were used against the refugees during a peaceful protest, giving false
hope, tearing families apart and the loss of all human rights. In this case they
dont have a voice, we have to be that voice, society needs to be the voice that
ends the detention center program and give them the justice the deserve.
Unfortunately others do not see the same way as us.

These others are the rich, the intelligent business owners, celebrities and other
people who lie, bribe and cheat to make their way to the top of the food chain.
Bribery and lying isnt anything new, it was done by the holy church, political
powers and even great and notable freedom fighters like George Washington. It
is embedded so deep in our culture that some regard it as an everyday thing,

which is purely disgraceful since this is done by many people we look up to

everyday. Above all it is unjust, why should they get away with thievery and
taking drugs while we are have to suffer the consequences, such as jail or even a
death penalty. It is not the rich and powerful we have to fight against, it is the
legal justice system, why the justice system because they are even more
corrupted then the one presenting the bribe by simply accepting the money or
item of interest. This point is proven during the Novel to kill a mocking bird,
during the novel Atticus Finch, a lawyer and an angel like figure in the book is
attempting to defend Tom Robinson, a black man in court over the alleged raping
of Mayella Ewell. Tom Robinson told the court that Mayella seduced him and that
she was beaten by her father, but her father did not want to be humiliated in
front of the town and forced Mayella to lie to the Jury and say she was raped.
Even though all evidence pointed towards Bob Ewell, Tom was declared guilty of
the crime. This shows that Bob Ewell at any cost wanted Tom punished for a
crime he did not commit, forcing his daughter to lie in court, possibly
blackmailing or even bribing the Jury and all this so he is on top of the food
chain. In order to combat this we must have the ethics like Atticus did To know
youre licked before you begin, but you begin anyway with ethics like this we
can bring justice back into the legal system and end corruption
They will change their ways and give us the justice we want, it is there
responsibility not ours.
Well that is where youre wrong, they will never change their ways of life or even
their actions, why, because they greedy and greed is corruption, we see it bring
about the end of many empires such as the Romans and the Mongols. Theyre in
it for the profit, the payout, the only reason they hired you was because you
were good at your job and not because you cant feed your family, like the
person after you. They know what we want but they wont give it to us, because
they dont want to invest in something that doesnt pay them back or help them
in any way shape or form. It is our responsibility because they wont do
anything and that is the sad things about humanity if it doesnt affect us then we
wont do anything about it. A clear example is when celebrities or even their
friends or family have a disease or sickness they will do anything to destroy it,
but if a child came up to them and asked to help with curing a sickness that the
child has, they will say in your dreams and leave them. This alone is a great
injustice.

I fear for the future to come, because of the events it will bring if none of these
injustices are solved. There is an old saying those who forget their history, are
doomed to repeat it the rich, the governments in every country have forgotten
about one piece of history that should never be forgotten. The French Revolution,
we all know the story but they have forgotten what caused it, it may have been
high taxes then, but now it is a vast array of injustices caused by them. I fear we
will have another revolution, but his time on a global scale, who knows what the
outcome could be for humanity or even if humanity will survive.

We dont know the future but now we must work on speaking out to the
government, our leaders and tell them what we want, that we want justice, not

just for ourselves but for those less fortunate than us. Because it is our
responsibility and if we dont fulfill it, we will lose everything and they will have
everything. We must speak out for justice, because they wont.
