The government wont, they are too concerned with offshore threats to worry
about us, threats like the Taliban and the Refugees. That is what they class
innocents escaping a war torn contrary as, threats, they dont receive justice,
they dont give them a proper trial, they are sent straight to detention centers
and have no civil rights, is this the treatment they deserve no it is not. Above all
no one should receive this treatment. Let us not forget the name change from
refugees to asylum seekers the Government is trying to put a negative
emphasis on this poor souls. Where is the evidence I can hear you asking,
aside from it being on the news and in our faces over the past decade a nice
piece of text that shows the injustice of this is the book Refugee: The Diary Of
Ali Ismail the novel tells the story of Ali Ismail, a young boy escaping
Afghanistan to start a new life in Australia, it features key events that prove the
injustice that the refugees are going through, with the detention center as the
focal point of all the injustices that take place. These include high pressure water
guns that were used against the refugees during a peaceful protest, giving false
hope, tearing families apart and the loss of all human rights. In this case they
dont have a voice, we have to be that voice, society needs to be the voice that
ends the detention center program and give them the justice the deserve.
Unfortunately others do not see the same way as us.
These others are the rich, the intelligent business owners, celebrities and other
people who lie, bribe and cheat to make their way to the top of the food chain.
Bribery and lying isnt anything new, it was done by the holy church, political
powers and even great and notable freedom fighters like George Washington. It
is embedded so deep in our culture that some regard it as an everyday thing,
I fear for the future to come, because of the events it will bring if none of these
injustices are solved. There is an old saying those who forget their history, are
doomed to repeat it the rich, the governments in every country have forgotten
about one piece of history that should never be forgotten. The French Revolution,
we all know the story but they have forgotten what caused it, it may have been
high taxes then, but now it is a vast array of injustices caused by them. I fear we
will have another revolution, but his time on a global scale, who knows what the
outcome could be for humanity or even if humanity will survive.
We dont know the future but now we must work on speaking out to the
government, our leaders and tell them what we want, that we want justice, not
just for ourselves but for those less fortunate than us. Because it is our
responsibility and if we dont fulfill it, we will lose everything and they will have
everything. We must speak out for justice, because they wont.
