What is it?

Canucks For Kids is a charity run by the NHL


team the Vancouver Canucks.
The Canucks for Kids Fund dedicates resources
to assist charities which support childrens
health and wellness, foster the development of
grassroots hockey, and facilitate and
encourage education in British Columbia.

Canuck Place Childrens Hospice
BC Childrens Hospital Foundation
These beneficiaries are providing vital resources and lifesaving care to families all across this province.

History
The Canucks for kids fun began in
1985 when it raised $29,635.00
The idea for Canuck Place came into
play in 1988 when nurse Brenda Eng
wanted to create a pediatric
palliative hospice in B.C

Canucks giving back


Through the Canucks for kids fund the
Vancouver Canucks do things like donate a
portion of unsold tickets to families,
donate team merchandise, and give away
all-inclusive suits to families or groups at
Canucks games

Future Plans
The future plans of the canucks for
kids fund are:
To continue helping with charities across B.C that
support children's health
To Build strong communities within disabled
children and children's hospitals
To continue bringing happiness to children with
disabilities or illnesses
