LANDSWITHINMILITARYRESERVATIONSBELONGINGTOTHEREPUBLICOFTHEPHILIPPINES
WHICHARENOLONGERNEEDEDFORMILITARYPURPOSES,ANDTODISPOSEOFTHESAMEBY
SALESUBJECTTOCERTAINCONDITIONS,ANDFOROTHERPURPOSES

Section1.TheDirectorofLandsshallcausethesubdivisionoflandswithinmilitaryreservationsownedbythe
Republic of the Philippines which may be declared by the President of the Philippines as no longer needed for
militarypurposes.
Sec.2.SubjecttotheapprovaloftheSecretaryofAgricultureandNaturalResources,theareaofeachlot
within the subdivisions shall be determined by the Director of Lands according to the nature of the land, the
numberofprospectiveapplicants,andthepurposeforwhichitwillbeutilized.
Sec.3.Alllandssosubdivided,exceptsuchportionthereofasmaybeneededforthepublicservicemay,with
theapprovalofthePresidentofthePhilippines,besoldtopersonsqualifiedtoacquireagriculturalpubliclands
undertheprovisionsofCommonwealthActNumberedOnehundredfortyone,commonlyknownas"ThePublic
LandAct,"andActNumberedThirtyhundredandthirtyeightofthePhilippineLegislature:Provided,however,
Thatinthesalethereof,firstpriorityshallbegiventobonafideoccupantsofsuchlandsandthereaftertowar
veterans of the past war including members of the USAFFE, recognized guerrillas, and deserving members of
unrecognizedguerrillaorganizations.
Sec.4.ThisActshalltakeeffectuponitsapproval.
