Accomplishment Report on
Brigada Eskwela
School Year 2015-2016
Environment plays a big part in learning. And so, if the school and classrooms, as well as its facilities are
not conducive for learning, education is hindered. To ensure the preparedness of the school and for the
improvement of the school facilities, as well as the school children, the Department of Education conducted
this years BRIGADA ESKWELA, also known as the National Schools Maintenance Week on May
18-23, 2015 where all education stakeholders contributed and rendered their time, effort and resources.
Believing that the community cannot stand without the school, and likewise the school
without the community, we greatly believed that the school is the face of the barangay. Thus all
the people in the community even those whose children were not studying in the school, gave a
hard and volunteered to support the program. Therefore, the teachers are very much indebted to
the barangay folks for without them, the following would not have been made possible.

Cleaning of the school grounds

Pruning/trimming of trees around the school

Fixing of Garbage disposal

Repairing of classroom

Cleaning of classrooms and office.

With their unselfish cooperation and invaluable support of the Sitio Tarukan people, the
Brigada Eskwela in Tarukan Elementary School turned out to be a successful one.
