    AsBlackstoneAcademystudents,wearerequiredtodoaservicelearningprojectfor
    ourlevel3portfolio.Asofrightnow,wearesophomoresatBACS(BlackstoneAcademyCharter
    School).Wewouldbeappreciativeandthankfulifallowedthisopportunitytodoourservice
    learningatBGC.
    IfgivenpermissionbyBGC,wewouldnottakethatforgranted.AsBACSstudents,we
    wouldliketobeabigsistertotheonesinneed.Weunderstandthatadolescentsoftenneed
    guidanceandwebelievethatwecanhelpthememotionallyandacademically.Wewouldlike
    theopportunitytobethereforthem,tolistentotheirproblems,togiveadvice,andmost
    importantlytokeepthemontherighttrackforschoolandhelpthemwiththeirhomework.Our
    goalistohelpadolescentsinapositivewayandhaveanimpactontheirlife.
    HereatBACSwebelievethatitsallaboutgivingbacktoourcommunity.Webelieve
    thatbyhelpingadolescentsitwillstrengthenourcommunity.Theywillrealizehowgooditfeels
    tobeabletobeontopoftheirgoals.Wealsohopethattheywillgivebacktothecommunity
    whentheyareolderandsoweintendtosetapositiveexample.

    Takingabiggerstep,wewouldattendBGCtwiceaweekpreferablyonTuesdayand
    Thursday.Wewishtostayfrom3:15p.m.until4:45p.mandwantatotalof610kidsdepending
    onhowmanyyouwillallowustohelp.Wedonotwishtoexceed10becausewedon'twantto
    overwhelmourselves.Alsowearegoingtogatherafewmorepeopleouragetohelp.Weare
    willingtomeetwithyouifyouwanttoknowmoreaboutuspersonally.
