The Letter of Recommendation

To Whom it May Concern

I am writing this letter to recommend Adam Astrada for the 2013 Global
Student Exchange Program. I was his Mathematic teacher and have known
him for last more than five years.
As a student, Adam demonstrated a love of learning and the level of
commitment necessary to succeed in college and beyond. As an educator, I
am happy to be able to provide this recommendation for such a deserving
student. I have great respect for him and truly believe that he is a deserving
candidate that you will be proud to have representing your foundation as an
exchange student in the US.
I remember when he represented his school to compete in many student
competitions which include not only in academic field but also in nonacademic, such as when he obtained the third place for Regional Chemistry
Olympiad, third place for UUD NKRI 1945 Quiz, and being involved in a
traditional dance studio. The talents he has are not just to be kept inside of
himself, but he eager to share everything he has. It is showed by helping his
friends in preparing to face the final examination, particullary for Chemistry,
Biology, and English courses. I was feeling so helpful because of him.
Adam is an open-minded man and he has high curiosity to try something
new that may ehnance his experience, knowledge, and benefit environment
around him as well. In addition to having firsthand knowledge of Adams
academic commitment, I am also familiar with his educational goals, as well
as the challenges he will face when he chose Nursing as his mayor. I cannot
think of anyone more deserving and I wholeheartedly support his application.
I feel certain that you will be just as impressed with Adam as I am. As an
educator who is committed to helping deserving students succeed, I strongly
